We’ve taken a short break from our social recruiting efforts, as the core MBA recruiting cycle came to a close with internship recruiting in March. This was an incredibly exciting year as we were able to experiment with how to better utilize social media and social networking to enhance our MBA recruiting efforts at Best Buy – focusing particularly in Finance. We considered ourselves pioneers in this space – especially using a blog (and some other vehicles like live chats, online webinars) to attract candidates.
The results? See for yourself via the presentation below – it’s a quick read and provides a quick review of our “experimentation” in this space. The good news…we saw some great successes and are looking to expand our experiment to the next level very shortly! We’ll be discussing our project at the Social Recruiting Summit in Minneapolis on May 17th.
